Habitat Art Studio is led by Megan Afansev, an artist who creates vibrant, nature-inspired landscapes using watercolor and colored pencils. Her work captures the whimsical beauty of the natural world, blending vivid colors and textures to evoke joy and wonder. In addition to creating artwork, Megan is passionate about fostering creativity in the community through Habitat Art Studio’s nature-based art classes for children in the Bay Area. These classes focus on process over product, offering young artists opportunities to explore their creativity while connecting with the environment. Proceeds from Megan’s artwork support the studio’s mission, providing children with meaningful outdoor art experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a deep appreciation for nature.
